Mythos in Kassel

I spent a very nice evening there with great hospitality and delicious food.

Update at the end of October 2020: new visit to myth; what can I say, new service, new card. The service was quick and very attentive, the menu was updated and expanded, and we liked it. The food was again excellent 5 *. And even if there was nothing wrong with it, the ouzo was still there ;-) Keep it up and we'd love to come back. You have earned the increase from *** to *****. September 2020: We have been very often in the myth and so far there has been little to complain about. When the four of us stopped in last, a lot went wrong: First the meal was served for two, the third meal was reduced because a meal that had not been ordered was served, this came five minutes after the first meal and the fourth meal came when the first two were almost ready (was probably forgotten since we had to point it out). With 4 guests you expect that the dishes will be served at the same time. The wine came quickly, the ordered beer was forgotten. After the meal it took a long time to clear the table and then only part of it. For a long time no service was seen, so that it was not possible to order another drink. A beer then ordered was served twice 🙄 As compensation there were at least a couple of ouzos. It should be noted that we stopped at the normal time (7:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.). There was no criticism of the food served; These were served warm, tasty and rich. PS: Mouth and nose protection should also be worn over the nose; In Corona times, this should be a matter of course.

Spontaneously called on Saturday evening and could come over directly. The food was delicious and the staff is very attentive and friendly! When we're back in Kassel, we'll be happy to come back :-)

Me and my wife like to eat there, super tasty, large portions and the service is always friendly and attentive, if little things go wrong they are corrected immediately and everyone is satisfied, starters are so delicious and you are almost full of them when we want to eat Greek then with you

We have been eating in the Mythos for years and are still very satisfied since the change of ownership. The menu offers different Greek variations. The dishes taste good and the portions are plentiful. The boss and the team are also friendly and courteous. On the whole, very recommendable.

We were very satisfied. The service was good but there is still room for improvement. The food tasted fresh and was very flavorful, but it can be a little more tzatziki with the gyros. To the restaurant itself, it was clean and very pleasant in terms of volume. Parking spaces are also available.

Hygiene regulations are not adhered to e.g. tables are not disinfected, waiters only with mouth covering, or without on the way. Food was brought to the wrong table. The meals were tasty though and the quzo as compensation went well too! Would like to test it a second time to see whether it always works like this there.

The food is super delicious, the portions are very big, the waitress super friendly, the boss as well, which was very important to me that you could sit there and enjoy the food. I would like to recommend it to others.

Good Greek restaurant in the center of Harleshausen / Kassel. You can clearly tell that it is a family business that brings a lot of Italian flair to the restaurant. In terms of price, I would say more upscale cuisine including wine and cigar. The portions are large and absolutely freshly prepared. Own cocktail creations are also offered. (Very tasty!) The service is very attentive. We have often ordered food and taken it home with us.

Very tasty food and nice ambience! Unfortunately, our service was very unfriendly. Wasn't a Greek think more like a Turkish woman. You noticed that she just doesn't feel like working. She didn't even know what beer there was. I wanted a different sauce for my dish. She said that is not possible. What nonsense 🤭

We used to love Mythos, but it seemed to us that the quality had dropped significantly since the tenant changed. We were in the restaurant with 7 people and ordered main course as well as some personal dessert. After eating, 5 out of 7 people complained of stomach pain and one even vomited. So something was wrong with the quality of the food even if we actually liked it. 2 stars because the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was clean and tidy.

We recommend. Good food, good wines, great service, nice atmosphere. Price is worth it. We have loved going there for years.

The food was plentiful and delicious, just like a real Greek! The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a great beer garden. We love to come back :)

The owner has changed. Constructive criticism is welcome again. The food is varied and good. The service staff do their best and are very friendly. We count ourselves among the regular guests again from now on. We are already looking forward to visiting the beer garden in summer.

The food was tasty, but the portions were pretty small - we definitely weren't full. They only have small regular beer (0,33) and the Erdinger-Hefe was the only drink that was available in 0,5 litres (if you don't want to pay huge money for a bottle of wine). A few of us had to leave early from the group so we can catch the bus home, so we went to pay at the bar. The owner was very displeased that we were all paying separately and he didn't have a cash register to give us the change back. We had to wait for a random waiter to randomly walk by so we could actually pay. After we said that we are kind of in a hurry, and that it would be nice if the random waiter would come by pretty soon, the owner got really mad and yelled at us that we should've gone earlier if we're in a hurry (it was raining outside and we thought that 10 minutes would be enough to pay for a meal). In the end, we made it on time, but were displeased with the service. The second star is only because the food was actually good, props to the chef.

I was in this restaurant twice. Both times at night. That is the one only place that I have visited in my life where the manager or I dont know who is the man responsible for the guests, is asking you at the door are you going to eat, and when not, he is saying that you must leave the restaurant, that he doesn't want you as guests ??!! No matter is the restaurant full or only one table is taken !!! I would NOT reccomend this place to no one, such rude behauvior should not be tolerated. Maybe the food is great, but who knows ?

Very good food and service. It really deserves it's number one place in the top 10 restaurants in Kassel.
